Differences.

One of the biggest differences between Japan and Sweden is the noticeable difference of the... public safety?

For example, people leave their bags at the table while going and order food at restaurants.

You can have your cell phone/camera/wallet/whatever important in your pockets without worrying too much.

In Sweden, I would never do that, because it's dangerous. Here, people don't even think that way.

But, the biggest and most evident proof of the fact that you can feel safe is the freedom the kids have. Sometimes I wonder if they are even five years old. the kids that walk around by them selves. In the train we see five-six year old's on a regular basis, and they are traveling alone.

I haven't seen them walking around in the busy city, but they do go home by themselves on the trains.

Yesterday when me and Alex went home from Harajuku this little girl walked in front off us in the station.

It's not possible in Sweden because of many reasons I think.

By all this I don't mean that you can go and get too naive, but it's so wonderful to see.

Congratz Sweden.

Yay Sweden won, I can't believe it. XD

Since it started 4 in the morning here (21.00 in Sweden) I stayed up all night instead. I fell asleep for a while in the couch when Yuya and Haru watched a movie. Slept for maybe two hours, so I'm not tired at all now haha.

Breakfast and watching. x3

It's a tradition to watch it, so... I mean, it's fun. But. So not enjoying the songs haha. I liked Sweden's song though, yay!

Sweden won! Congratulations xD even more of out tax money will be spent at this thing next year, yay~

No but really, it's been since forever since Sweden won so.

Hmm. Don't know if I'll go to bed and sleep for a while or not. It's 8 in the morning here now. Maybe not. Maybe.

Infoforformation

Okay, so here's the deal why I haven't uploaded much the past few weeks. My blog is out of memory, which means I have to go back in my archive and re-upload all the pictures in a smaller size. Bwahaha. Fun. Not. I have considered both buying more space or just being ultra lazy and create a new blog, but I don't wanna.

I don't have time enough to do it right now, so bare with me for a while with no day-to-day-life-shizzle-whatever posts about my dinner and super interesting stuff like that. xD Everything is fine so don't worry about my lack of updates.

This is a picture from the eclipse we were lucky to see on monday! It was awesome. At first, it was too bright for both us and the camera, so the only thing we and the camera saw was this, the sun. Duh. On this picture the sun is almost wholly covered, just that it's too bright to see it.

Then a few moments later, right at the exact right moment, a thin layer of clouds covered it and this is what we and the camera saw:

AWESOME! 8D The light outside was so strange, and it became so cold compared to before.

For about five minutes we could see it like this, although we still couldn't look straight at it for too long. The sun is extremly bright you see, even when the moon covers most of it. xD then we had to run to the train to get to school haha.

See ya!

DEPAIN owns my soul.

【DEATH GAME】

Depain has a special place in my heart. I've followed them since they started and first time I saw them live was the first time I was in Tokyo back in 2010. They are the only band that has been on my top 3 bands for this long, because I usually keep switching between bands and so on, I also get bored of bands too easy sometimes. Depain has always been there for over three years now. It maybe doesn't sound as a long time, but it is for me, trust me. xD

Me, Alex and Malin left home a bit over 4, we didn’t want to stress or anything. We ended up being in Takadanobaba 35 minutes before the doors would open though, which was a bit too much xD but whatever.

We bought water and something small to eat in Family Mart before standing in our place.
There was only like… not even 100 people there and it went closer and closer to when the doors would open, three minutes to half past I went like “poor Depain, there really aren’t more people coming.”

Inside it showed that there was a little bit more people than it looked like in the line… at least we filled both floors haha.

Anyhow, since it took like five minutes for everyone to get it we had to sit around and wait for almost an hour before they show would start. We ended up on the third row on Takeru's side. Yay.

By the way, I don’t understand at all why they have to open the doors an hour before the show starts in such a small live house. Now really. Even when it’s almost sold out it barely takes 10 minutes before everyone is inside. What is that hour for anyway? It’s usually just half an hour when there’s a lot of bands playing…

I used the time and bought some of their singles, the one-coin single and a towel. Totally freaked out the girls selling stuff with buying so much, they had to search for a calculator haha.

Oh, also Born's towel from yesterday:D
Although it doesn't make much sense. I get the feeling though, haha.

*cough*deth game?!*cough* hahah so cute

I felt tempted to buy some polaroid pictures but since I already bought so much I
decided not to, haha. I love the polaroid pictures though, they are cute.

Ryuka!<3

We sat around, talked a bit… When the time closed in to 6.30 the woman’s voice started rambling rules that no one cares about anyway, then they started the little sound check waaay late. I was like “you’re laaate.” haha, and sure indeed they were 20 minutes late. What xD funny thing was that we had just talked about a show Alex went to in Sweden with Gackt and co, forgot the name of their band, and they concert was two hours late… I said I’ve never been to a concert here yet that has been more than like 5-10 minutes late at the most. Of course I jinxed it xD But I’m happy they kept playing the guitars then and there otherwise I would wonder if they would cancel the show or something.

But nooo, it was no need to worry. The lights were out and the intro started soon enough. :3 The members came out one by one and they started off by trying to kill all of us straight away.

This is their look now, and.... I don't like their clothes, haha. They look like.... I don't know. It looks a bit better live though, somehow they look extra flat on photos. I still think Depain has a weird sense in fashion. I couldn't care less though, they could come out on stage in pajamas if they wanted.

Ryuka is this ball of energy on stage… He has a very special aura, and I love him for it. Depain is the band that moves around the most of the one’s I’ve seen, so he came to our side a lot and triggered the go crazy buttons. He seemed a bit tired today though, and his voice cracked a few times in the beginning. You okay Ryuka?

I on purpose always stand on Takeru’s side. Because. Takeru is such an amazing guy. Haha. He’s always interacting, always encouraging, always so smiley and happy. 80% of the time he’s right up on the edge of the stage and is so, easy to bond with. I noticed something really interesting today about myself. xD Because I guess it’s pretty common that you look at the vocalist most when you see a band. Of course I look at the other’s too, but I still always look at Ryuka the majority of the time. Today I noticed that I somehow have a hard time keeping eye contact with Takeru, haha. I don’t know why, but every time I looked at him and he looked back I went like “afuhfufuhehehe” and became all shy. Whyyyyy? XD I have no problem at all keeping eye contact with Ryuka. Because he’s the vocalist? I don’t know? Maybe because Takeru has such piercing look XD

Okay I’ll stop ramble.

The mood was really high and they made the name of the live DEATH GAME come true the first part and just… killed us. x3 In a good way. When they played Rasen I just felt like bursting out of my skin or something. It's such a nostalgic song, it triggers a lot.

Malicious Gossip is one of my favorites. They only have the old version on youtube though, bowbow. Toge is also one of my favoritesong, the guitars, ah the guitars. Pretty much all of their songs are my favorite song, mkay? Haha.

But, my favorite of all favorites is still this one. It's so powerful live, although Ryuka did struggle with this one today. -w- he seemed to sing his soul out, and we head banged our souls out for him, so I guess it's okay.

Ryuka, when the time comes in a few years, please don't ever train away the uniqueness in your voice. You're voice is amazing, it's unique, it's so filled with emotions and it's so very beautiful. I've been through too many bands that when they got bigger the vocalist gets to serious voice training and then they sound like everyone else after a while. Ryuka, I love your voice! TAT Don't ever take it away from me.

When he said it was the last song I was chocked.. I didn’t realize how fast time had gone by… The encore was really fast though since they were 20 minutes behind. Ayuto came out and had a drum solo. FUCK YEAH! You’re awesome Ayuto.

Then Takeru, Kaei and Luu came out and joined him. They played for a bit together and we head banged our brains out. Ryuka came out on stage without me noticing and when he suddenly screamed his lungs out I almost fell over in surprise. He had only a top on, which I was happy to see. His jacket looked way too hot, as usual.

Then another hour of heaven continued. In three of their songs they had the jump side-to-side, which they repeat forever and ever. In two of their songs they got the saizen leans on to the stage and we jump to their backs, which they also repeat for a while… One of them was the last song, but I’ll get to that later. Their furi mainly consist of head banging, jumping, head banging, fist pumping, head banging some more, jump more and head bang some more. AAHHHH. xD Death game.

They had an MC there somewhere and they all talked one on one. They talked about today’s live and how great it was to have a one man in AREA, their upcoming schedule and stuff like that. When Takeru was talking Ryuka and Ayuto did something by the drums I didn’t see that made half of the girls start laughing, and Takeru was like “Whaaat?” and turned around but then they just pretended like nothing happened and Takeru went on. xD It looked funny. Ryuka finished his MC by yelling "DIE!!" over and over again, then they started up again.

Game has such an awesome furi in twinkly parts of the song, but I completely fail at it. It has such an awesome effect though, and the song is amazing.

When Ryuka once again announced the last song after the other hour my heart went “nooo~”
But, little did I know that after they left the stage there was no staff pulling the curtain closed, and I went YOOOHOHOHEHJEHEHEYAY! Two encores… Two encores <3

We called them in for another encore and they came out pretty fast. Yay. They went straight to two more repetitive-songs, just to kill us some more. One of them was the jump up to the saizen's back song and the members switched places every time the jumping part came.

Since there was too few girls in the saizen there was a gap between the two girls and apparently Ryuka wasn't happy with that fact. When he came in front of our side I jumped second, only that I didn't have time to jump at all before he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me into the empty spot, only that I at the same time ended up in his lap, well, kind of, I dunno how to explain that pose. XD I had no time to move my arm, so my arm ended up hanging limp on one of his legs, the girls jumping on top of me and Ryuka pulling both me and them closer I ended up in a absolute Ryuka hug with my head against his stomach, hahaha. I would lie if I said I minded.

After the repetition song Ryuka yelled it was really the last song, then it was really over.

Depain owns my soul. That's all I can say.

Pretty flowers!<3

The live didn't end until 9.30-ish, I think, so I was like craaaap the train is going to be so crowded. Yes it was. Yamanote line was okay, but then Saikyo line... Oh Saikyo line, you suck. What you think will happen when two thirds of the trains are either rapid or only go to akabane. >: It's always late in the mornings too, and always as crowded. Between Ikebukuro and Akabane we stood almost hovering over the ground because it was so crowded. Well, I don't care that much anyway. It's one of those moments when you don't understand how a space packed with people can be so quiet as in a train in Japan. If I would have dropped a needle I would hear it fall like an explosion. xD okay I'm exaggerating. It was dead silence in there though, even with 5 people/m2.

Now I really need to try and sleep. Concert on a monday. Bad student.
Good night!

Mood killer.

My wisdom tooth that has been standing still with just one tip out suddenly decided to start growing and become inflamed. OF COURSE THE DAY BEFORE DEPAINS ONEMAN!!! Stupid tooth, if I have to pull it out today I'll be in so much pain tomorrow I won't even be able to jump, probably. Aaahh. I don't wanna. Stupid infection, go away.
